Occasionally one of the general authorities will give a talk directed to the returned missionaries. Here’s our running list of those talks.
To Returned Missionaries – Elder L. Tom Perry gave this talk in the October 2001 General Conference. Memorable line: “What we need is a royal army of returned missionaries reenlisted into service.” The essence of his talk: Your mission made you happy, do the same things you did as a missionary.
Letter to a Returned Missionary – Charles A. Didier gave this talk at the October 1977 General Conference. A convert’s letter to the inactive returned missionary who baptized his family.
The Best Decision I Ever Made – Elder L. Whitney Clayton of the Seventy gave this talk in April 2008. He talked about how important it is as a returned missionary to set a good example.
